Welcome to the PECs website. Our Club, and this site, is dedicated to all of us expats enjoying the good life in Pattaya, and those of you across the world who would like to join us here. Our aim is to provide support for all Pattaya visitors, and for those expats already lucky enough to be living here. He has trained 200 of the Fortune 500 and was also the youngest owner of a professional sports team at the age of 28. The Pattaya Expats Club is all about expats helping expats - all Nationalities are welcome. Whatever your question or problem, you can be sure there is another expat who has ‘been there, done that’. New friends who are ready to share their experience and expertise on anything and everything to make your stay in Pattaya more enjoyable and stress free. Life Membership is just 600 Baht and only by personal application at a Meeting of the Club each Sunday. This one-time joining fee provides a Photo-ID Card - no renewals needed, many member services, Lucky Draw prize entry etc. Bring two very small photos (Thai Driver License size) and your card is prepared and laminated right away by our club staff. Our memberships process is open from 1000am until 1130am.
 Please suggest Main Feature Speakers for our weekly Meetings. Come up with ideas and  contact Dan Schwartz, PEC's Programme Manager. Give your suggested ‘lead’, with contact information, and let him arrange the talk; please do not fix dates in advance. The British Embassy's Pattaya Office Consular officer is Khun Sasamon Khempookeau (cell-phone 089 203 1646). The Consular Office is located in Soi 5 Jomtien Beach Road, near the Immigration Office car park, and now is back to normal operating hours Mondays to Friday. Office tel/fax: 038 267 113. PEC Special Interest Groups – these are all FREE access for those holding a club membership .Three – Football, fishing and golf incur costs.
Six-A-Side Football for PEC Members 60B. Now Every Monday and Wednesday between 1700 and 1800, members are invited to play a social game of six-a-side football at the state-of-the-art artificial grass stadium, "Planet Football" located on Siam Country Club Road. Yoga & Relaxation group. With Donaat our regular presenter a very satisfying series of 10 sessions of about one hour, each Friday. A creative mix of basic yoga, deep relaxation exercises and preventing back problems. Yoga mats, supplied. Participants wear loose clothing. Location is his home, Soi 69, off Sukhumvit. The Club's deep sea fishing trips are organised monthly now by James Duffy, call 084 867 5850 for dates, or see him in the club. Trips leave 4am and return 6pm, usually from Sattahip. Show member card please.
Join our Badminton group – currently played by our members at Diamond Badminton Centre on Pattaya Third Road, near Soi 17 traffic lights, at 6.30 pm two evenings per week. Ask Meeting Manager Jahir, show member cards.
Free ‘Computer for Beginners’ class day Wednesday 0900. Tutor John Coughtrie. Next one will start when sufficient number have registered. All PEC Members are eligible at no cost. Classes are at a reserved Internet Café, off Soi Arunothai central Pattaya, not far from Carrefour. Please show membership cards. Register with the tutor at Sunday Club meetings only.

Our ‘Club Shop’ (next to the entry ticket sales point) – has low cost polo-shirts with the club handshake logo and tropical blue silk shirts with our club palm tree motif. Plus a range of practical guides including author and guest speaker Tony Crossley's 'Condo's In Thailand, Your Rights' at wholesale prices to save your money while currency exchange rates are unfavourable.
The PEC's free 'DVD and Book Swap' table, on the left as you enter the meeting room, is a 'member to member' service. Donate stock and take 1:1. Please bring books, magazines and DVD's you've already enjoyed, and swap them. Our DVD stock is shrinking. Please be fair – This is a swap (not swipe) initiative! Plus, our take-away Information Centre leaflets, publications and business cards from hundreds of 'member to member services' in Pattaya, is open outside in the foyer display until the end of the meeting.
Pattaya International Hospital Health Desk has a medical team in our foyer. If unwell, make your way to the Health desk or alert staff immediately. Hospital admission is just a few minutes away - at Memorial or PIH.

We meet at the Hotel Mercure, Pattaya 2nd Rd and Soi 15 behind The Avenue. Entry Tickets are sold from 10:00 AM when the meeting hall doors open. Speakers from 11:30 am. Full breakfast from 1000 am until 1130am for 180B and if you want to come after breakfast then 80B for Coffee, Tea and Water, from 11:30 am till 1230. Entry pays for our excellent technical presentation facilities of the Hotel Mercure. The table plan is usually in friendly format tables for eight or ten - so please allow the 'gaps' to be filled by new arrivals at your table. We are a friendly Expats helping Expats advice forum.

Please dress appropriately for a hotel setting. Thai culture is governed by respect, the way you dress reflects how you respect yourself and others. Notices banning beachwear and vests from our club function room are displayed outside the meeting hall and at the ground floor lobby. But we are informal, so open shirts (covering shoulders and chest) and shorts are fine.
